4. Analysis Tools and Advertising

Google reCAPTCHA

I use "Google reCAPTCHA" (hereinafter "reCAPTCHA") on my website. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google").

reCAPTCHA is designed to check whether the data entry on my website (e.g., in a contact form) is done by a human or by an automated program. To do this, reCAPTCHA analyzes the behavior of the website visitor based on various characteristics. This analysis begins automatically as soon as the website visitor enters the site. For the analysis, reCAPTCHA evaluates various information (e.g., IP address, time spent on the website by the visitor, or mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis is forwarded to Google.

The reCAPTCHA analysis takes place completely in the background. Website visitors are not informed that such an analysis is taking place.
